Change Splash Up footer navigation to solid text from default transparancy

Recommended Posts

nadielp

Hello,

Working on new PL5 site and the test for the navigation in the footer of Splash Up renders as a transparency but I need solid text. I tried a couple CSS changes but I don't see how to change this. Any help would be appreciated. Site link: http://vetpaw.org/new .

Thanks,

Daniel

Looks like you gave it a class of _mPS2id-h

so wont this work?

._mPS2id-h {
    opacity: 1;
}

Thanks Simon but that didn't work...That class is from the Page Scroll to ID plugin. I used it on another PL5 site ( pretty much the same as I am trying to use it here) and I did not have the transparency issue. To clear the issue a little I disabled the plugin and the text is stall showing to be .6 transparency. I tried adding an opacity setting to the class I had set to style the size of the custom menu item but it isn't effecting the opacity. I am puzzled as this is working just fine with nearly identical settings....Can you look again and see if there is some way of identifying where the opacity is coming from? Thanks!

Thanks Simon, I see that now...I apologize for not being very clear on my ask...not at my best today. What do I need to alter to make that text solid? Since I already have a class for the size I figured adding an opacity setting for solid would work but it doesn't. .vp-big { font-size: xx-large; color: rgba(0,0,0,.99); }. So then do I need to add something like .splashup-nav-menu {opacity: 1} instead? This didn't work...by the way but I gave it a try. I really appreciate your help.

For me #meganav_u619zq2 { opacity: 1; } worked.

So I dropped that in LESS hit save and it is still transparent. I see from the screen shot you sent that it is working for you. I only have PL plugins installed at this point and it is a clean install...I removed the scroll to id plugin as well...
