[Solved] Various Broken Links & Images after changing url from subfolder to root

Recommended Posts

carl

I'm sorry if this has been addressed in the past... I've changed my sites url from the subfolder to root, using the common method described. eg. copy .htdocs & index.php to root folder and turn off permalinks etc.

Once completed, most pages and blogs are working and images seem to be loading but... the logo image is missing and all sliders are trying to load with a continued spinning icon. Can't access the dms editor interface via chrome. Thanks in advance for any advice. When I revert back everything works as it should. I'm sure it's so simple it's right under my nose. cheers!!

wherever you set the logo image, readd the image to fix the url, or manually edit it.

Same with the slider.
