blog thumbnails all different sizes in firefox

Weird issue happening in firefox on my blog:  http://coatofarmspost.com/the-hitching-post/
I am using the Magazine layout mode. the thumbnails are all showing at different sizes. see screenshot from firefox.  any thoughts on why this may be happening?

yes.  I've tried that a couple of times already.  no luck.

I've been viewing the blog page via firebug and I am finding that the thumbnail images in firefox have some sort of scaling applied to them within the code.  take a look at this from firefox.

the scale="2" is not listed in the code when viewing from chrome or safari.  here is that code
