And the secret to updating would be? I tried hitting the update button multiple times and it say's I'm current, but I'm back on .59 and current.

You shouldn't need to do that.. Is the site connected right?

Disconnect and reconnect it.

Do you get updates for other plugins?

The site is connected. 

I did a deactivate/reactivate of PL5.

Yes, I get updates for other plugins. I've been using the iThemes plugin for auto updates (quite handy for multiple sites). 

I deactivated that plugin, as well as Jetpack and tried another update plugin..none of which worked. 

Prior to .59 I was updating regularly as prompted by WP.

Well nothing has changed with the update code, we track updates and I can see users updating within 3 or 4 mins of me pushing an update!

Im about to push another update as it happens.

Normally clicking force update once works, then the update will show after clicking the updates link in the sidebar a few times.

Realize this sounds ridiculous, but to be sure I'm following correctly: 

1) "force update" means I click the little box by Pagelines Platform 5. Then go to the top and click "update"

2) "updates link in the sidebar" I don't have update link in the sidebar, but I have one in the top tool bar.

Um, no..

  • Go to updates page http://your-site/wp-admin/update-core.php
  • Click [Check Again] button.
  • Click updates in the left sidebar a few times, it reloads the page you arrived in step 1

Simon, not sure if this helps, but this is a similar situation to goingnuts problem. The site was originally built on DMS, I'm in the process of converting it to PL5 and now I can't seem to update. 

Perhaps an old pagelines/DMS plugin is the problem. Will test.

Removed all old Pagelines/DMS plugins, deactivated PL5, came back in and reactivated PL5...and no change.

You simply need to connect the site: http://www.w-edigest.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pl-platform-account

Go to that page and click the blue button ;)

Simon, I still have this problem, lika you've noticed last u helped med, has tried everything.. even disonnect /reconnectet my account, but NO updates will show up for me from Pagelines..

This is acrossed all my sites, how can we fix this?

      Here's the site, but that's not what it's suppose to look like. I tried to log in but the theme was crashed. I then went into the DB and changed the theme to WP 2013. I assume that by updating the pagelines theme all will be well again. I've downloaded DMS 2.2, but I don't know how to install that. Please help. I need to communicate with the 100's of people who've signed up in the last week. Thanks.

      - was trying to submit changes yesterday but it won't apply them at all.
      - I updated pagelines to 2.1.9.8 as notified, now pagelines won't load at all.

      Hi Guys!
      The past week I have been having a problem updating all of my PageLines stuff. On all of my sites I have the PageLines updater installed. So I get prompted to update. 
      I proceed to update and then get this message:
      I thought it might be specific to that one site, but now 3 sites have given me that error. Some are hosted with me through FlyWheel and others are hosted through other companies. Some sites have a ton of plugins and some are stripped down to just the basics. Not sure what the problem is. I am getting this message from all PageLines plugins and theme. I am trying to update to DMS2.1.9.5 
      Update Failed
      There was a problem getting the updated file from the PageLines server.
      Possible reasons for a failed download For all user account requests please start a ticket by emailing the support desk

      I might be missing something very obvious, but how do I update my Pagelines DMS theme to DMS 2? When I go into my Wordpress 4.2.2 dashboard, no DMS updates are available, yet when I go into the theme preview, it says I have version 1.1.1. Aren't you on like v2.1 now or something?
