PlatformPro: visual editor disappears with NexGen and MAMP

The visual editor for posts and pages does not show up with the NexGen Gallery plugin activated. I tried reinstalling the plugin. Reinstalled the wp-includes folder because I read that reinstalling tinymce might help but have had no luck. This problem only exists in my localhost MAMP installation. Everything is fine on my remote server. I'd really like to develop my site with MAMP. Any ideas?

Hm, have you tried reinstalling the WordPress install itself on your MAMP?

I guess third time is the charm. But this time I installed WP 3.0.2. But looks like the issue has resolved.
