How to modify h2 style between Posts and Single Post

Recommended Posts

I need to have the styling of the h2 header on the Posts page look different from the styling on the Single Post page. However, in Platform Pro, both appear to be controlled by the same postloop.php file. How can I separate the two?

Easily in CSS: `.blog h2{}` and `.single h2{}` If that doesn't quite work for you let's get a link and I'll look closer. Thanks, Bryan

Well, it works, kinda. Ignores the attributes unless you specify them as !important which causes all kinds of other problems because then any custom styles you apply won't work either unless you also specify those as !important, so it creates a domino effect. Can you think of a way to avoid having to use the important designation?

Well, I was able to get it to work properly by using

.blog .post-title h2 {}
or
.single .post-excerpt p {}

etc. Thanks for the help!
