Change nav logo link without updating site URL

Any help from the community would be appreciated...

I have a blog site setup as a subdomain for a primary site. I'd like to change the URL in the navigation logo to point from the blog to the primary site.

How can I change the nav logo URL?

For example, if my blog lives at blog.example.com but I want the nav logo to point to www.example.com, how can I do that?

Thanks!

Depends on what theme you are using and what section the navigation is.

@Simon I'm using DMS2 (2.1.9.3) and Navi is in the default (top) Fixed header section.

Thanks for your help!

OK well 1st off, please update to 2.2 .. it fixes a ton of issues.

2nd the navi url is hard coded im afraid, so you will need to take the jquery approach to change it.

if you give me a link to the site i can give you the jquery snippet to add ... but you need to update the theme 1st or you will surely get saving issues.

<script>
	jQuery(document).ready(function() {
		jQuery( '.navi-container a' ).attr('href', 'http://google.com')
	})
</script>

@Simon I've added the script to the DMS custom script section (screenshot attached), but the link has not changed.

Sorry forgot to mention it needs to be wrapped in a ready function... updated the snippet.
