Adjusting Feature Width

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to have the feature slider show in the middle with the Template setting set to "Default Template" on an interior page (not the home page) ? If I select the Feature Page template, the slider does show, but it spans my 3 column layout (left col, main col, right col) Editing the width as Kate mentioned using the stylesheet did narrow the slider, but the alignment of the other sidebars is messed up as benshute alluded to.

This may change as I'm working on things, but here it is. http://74.52.55.82/~alcatraz/about/our-story/ Currently I have the template for that page set to "Feature Page" and then down below in the General Page Setup I selected "Two Side Bars, one on each side" I want the width of the Feature Slider to be the width of the main column (550px). Being new tot his system I'm guessing my problem is try to put a feature slider in what is essentially the main content area.

I know you did say it might change, but I'm already getting a 404. Did you remove the page already?

Not sure why that's happening. From the 404 page, you can navigate to the page by going to About > Our Story to see it.

Okay. You should read this. http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/12458/featured-slider-width-a-solution#Item_42 which has some of the code Kate posted earlier in this forum topic. The result will be a sidebar directly next to the feature slider. I use this throughout my own site http://www.epicurus.com
