Changing text link color in a single text box only?

Recommended Posts

I have a text box with a link to a privacy policy in the footer of a page and I want the link/text color to be white, but I don't want to change the link colors globally.  I have what I think should be working in the screen cap below but it is being overriden.  How can I accomplish this?

Hi,

You shouldn't really use inline CSS and also, inline CSS won't work in the way you want. The inline CSS option is applied to the section div and therefore, will not style your link CSS. Therefore, what I would suggest is you either give that text a class and style that class to have white text or apply CSS using the unique ID for that TextBox.

For example:

The HTML would look like this:

<p>
    <a class="white-txt" href="">Privacy Policy</a>
</p>

CSS would look like this:

.white-txt {
  color: #fff;
}
