image appearing in header across website

I've been working on creating a few new pages on our website www.elearningmarketplace.co.uk in the absence of our web developer and I've managed to add an image to the top of most web pages. I understand that the image is in the header section but no where can I find reference to the image to delete it.

Hi,

Are you referring to the Elearning logo image? If so, the image has been added via HTML code and is coming from the MediaBox section. The code will look something like this:

<a href="/">
  <img src="/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/elm-logo-refined_compressed.png">
</a>

Thanks for your help Danny. No, its not the Elearning Marketplace logo. If you look on the home page and on say the about/business page you'll see there is a picture of a person with a hard hat on sitting at a computer. This is above the slider on the home page and on the business page above the same picture that was there originally, showing the same picture twice.

I haven't edited or added any html by entering coding, however I did it I managed it in the DMS drag and drop interface. Thinking about restoring the website if I can't resolve this soon.

The image of the man wearing a PPE hat, is coming from two sections. The one at the top is a TextBox, where you or someone else must have either uploaded or added that image via HTML. The second instance of the hat image is coming from the QuickSlider section. Therefore, if you wish to remove the static image, you will simply need to remove the TextBox section that is above the slider.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. What you say makes absolute sense, but I'm not sure how it appears on every page and also how to find the text box. I've taken a screen capture of the DMS editor viewing the home page and I can't see how to delete the image as there doesn't appear to be a text box.

I'm afraid your dealing with someone who doesn't know the DMS editor very well, although I thought I was doing okay!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Carolyn
