iCallout - change background and text color

Recommended Posts

I'm using the iCallout section in my blog sidebar below and want to change the background color and text color, can someone help me out with the CSS for that?  I'm using the iCallout section elsewhere on the site and accomplished this by putting it within a canvas area and setting that options up in the canvas area settings, but I can't put a full-width canvas area into the sidebar.

Hi,

Simply use the Styling classes field on the iCallout section. Then add custom CSS using that classname. For example, add the following to the styling classes field:

callout-black

Then add the following to your custom CSS:

.callout-black {
  background-color: #F00;
  color: #FFF;
}

The result will be this:

Thanks, but the below isn't working, what am I doing wrong?  It seems like if I use the color code I want it doesn't work.

.callout-black {
  background-color: #F4ABBED;
  color: #FFF;
}

Hi,

Your background color code is wrong.

Hex color codes have 6 numbers and/or letters.

#000000 or #ffffff

In the code above you have 7.
