Hide Flipper Thumbnails?

Recommended Posts

frakture

Hi there, wondering if there is a way to hide or turn off the flipper thumbnails, so all you have are the blog titles (and dates)? I've searched and haven't seen this question asked before. Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately, no. However, you can hide them via CSS by targeting the img and using display: none;.

I've been trying to isolate the images in there using Firebug to get the CSS and am not having luck (maybe because of the hover?). Is this something you'd have to do in CSS for every blog thumbnail individually? Does that make sense? :-/

Can you provide a link to the site in question please. Also, what CSS have you tried already ?

http://www.frakture.com/home-new/ is the site - and I just want the titles to show, no images. I haven't tried any css because I can't figure it out in Firebug. :-/ (trying to learn, but it's not coming quickly for tougher things like this)

Add the following to your custom CSS:

.flipper-wrap .flipper-items > li img {
  display: none !important;
}

However, in my opinion, it would be easier for you to achieve this with the PowerLoop section without the need to use custom CSS to hide an image. In PowerLoop the image wouldn't even load, which would be better for your performance.

      I am using the Powerloop plug-in on my DMS website and can sort my elements by Postdate, but I want to sort the pages in Alphabetic order.
      Actually the same question for sorting Flipper content in Alphabetic order instead of Ascending / Descending / Random options.

      We only want the images and title mouse-over, not link/click to the actual post the title is from.
      Any ideas anyone?
      Thanks

      I just installed and added the Flipper section to my home page and it makes my navigation/menu bar items disappear.
      They do show up again when scrolling down and everything seems normal on the other pages.

      Thanks.

      Is there any way to hide the excerpt in Flipper, and the navigation arrows?

      How do I hide (or change) the category title in the Flipper section?
      Could there be a setting for this in the editor?
