I want to remove the 'this post was last edited by xxxxx at xxxxx date/time.

In going thru the Codex, this appears to be a theme setting? Is that correct? How do I remove it?

Thank you,

Judith

Hey Judith,

This is from the Single Bits section by Ellen.  The code to add to the functions.php to remove this is:

if(class_exists('elsueSingleBitsPlugin')) {
  $instance = elsueSingleBitsPlugin::this();
  remove_filter('the_content', array($instance , 'add_mod_hatom_data'), 5 );
}

Ciao. Just getting around to fixing this now and appreciate your reply!

But...it's not doing the trick. Nothing happens. Seems the only functions.php folder that makes sense is the less.functions.php file and that doesn't do anything. Any other ideas?

Thanks!!!

Your theme will have a functions.php file, if using a childtheme that will also have a functions.php file

Simon, that's exactly what I did. I tried a few locations based on the notes in the theme...but nothing worked. Sort of desperate....

I did go into the theme file, and found the functions.php file, edited it..but no response.

Thank you!!!

Hello!! I figured you guys know what you are talking about..let me take a deep breath and try again.

I couldn't find the theme folder and had done a search in the CPanel. It wasn't giving me the correct results...when I went in manually I found the correct functions.php and fixed my problem.

Many thanks!!

      Hi Pagelines team and community,

      I am going to be attempting to do a full migration from GoDaddy to WPEngine.
      I need to know, will I lose the front-end customisations I have made?
      Also are there any backups or things I need to do to ensure that I do not lose any important info relating to the site?
      Kind regards,
      Dan

      Hi DMS team,
      Please help out on how to add Post tags to the bottom of each post. Tried looking at the hooks tutorials but not sure what to do here.
      Thanks a lot.
