PAGELINES DMS2 Migration with WP Engine missing pages

Recommended Posts

I need some help with a WP Engine Migration tool.  I manage http://xtremio.com/ with WP Engine and use there auto migration from a STAGING to LIVE and Migrating all Tables in the database.  For the last few months the site has been migrating perfectly.  But starting last week the site started dropping a single page.  Here are the notes please let me know if you have any ideas on why this is happening.  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kuyDXqqymiNoyToO8yDutXn3Mkx-hoBOBjffimjfYvo/edit?usp=sharing

This is the main issue they are stating is the issue...

  • All of the data for the post that's created through DMS is saved through serialized data in the postmeta table. This information is incredibly sensitive and changing the length of the data breaks it. Because of that, when our system pushes from staging to live or vice versa and the script automatically updates the domain, it will cause problems for any instance of serialized data that has the domain name in it.

Simon

So their script does a blind string replace on serialized data?

Im afraid there is no way we can change the way data is saved. WordPress saves arrays to the database serialized by default, we just pass an array to it, it serializes and saves to the tables.

They should consider  checking if the data is serialized before jumping in there and blindly renaming data.

      Hi there,
For some reason the styling on a site doesn't seem to be being applied - all was ok the other day but something seems to have broken the less styling.hanks
I've tried flushing the caches but it doesn't seem to work.
When I log in and load the DMS editor it all looks fine - when I hit publish though the live site still looks like the styling isn't being applied.
      Can someone please help?
      Many thanks in advance!

Unable to attach an image that's already been uploaded.
When attempting to upload one from scratch, it gives me the error seen in the screenshot. As you can see by the Chrome Inspector, I receive a 400 error.

Ik like to use the following Plug-in in my DMS Theme, but can' get it to work. My DMS Editor is not loading anymore if I paste this short code in a page, textbox or mediabox: [wpdatatable id=1]
      Plug-in: WPDataTables Plug-in
      Shortcode:  [wpdatatable id=1]
      Website: http://gentleclinics.nl/prijslijst-heren/

Anyone experience with this plug-in and DMS.

I recently downloaded the latest DMS2 update. Since the download, I lost front end ability to update. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
