Problem linking to stand alone blog posts - same server but in a subdirectory

Hi there,

I just published a Pagelines DMS Wordpress site at http://ocdla.com. The original site that I replaced used to be an html site with static pages. I also had a database for a blog installed in a subdirectory called 'blog'. Now that the new site is published (in the root folder), none of the absolute links to the blog posts work (from the original blog that sits in a subdirectory). For example; here's a post that is resulting in a 404 error - http://ocdla.com/blog/ocd-family-3348?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ocdla+(OCD+Center+of+Los+Angeles).  However, we CAN connect to the homepage of the blog itself - which is the thing that is totally confusing to me - http://ocdla.com/blog. I'm baffled and I'm wondering if you have any ideas as to how to fix this. I know I can import or re-create the posts in the current websites (new) database and give them permalinks, as I am trying to keep all of the urls the same because there are many inbound links from various sites and searches and we don't want to have any broken links to the site. And, to make things even more complicated I have a plugin installed on the new site that puts the extension '.html' at the end of every url to emulate the previous structure from the old site for the same reason I described above. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Michele

Hi,

Did you check to see that there is a wp loop section on the page. I had a similar issue and this seemed to be the case.

Just a suggestion.
