Power Loop single page customization

It seems that powerloop can not be customized for each different category and single page post for each category. It can only be customized on the full width section level.

Since when I go a category page, we have to used the default query option, all individualized customization can not be of no effect.

I even tried to use the powerloop on a regular page, instead of a category page, and it still does the  same. Whatever meta data set up I set up on that page, it affects all the other Powerloop sections.

Hi,

PowerLoop can not be used to create a different layout or style on a per category basis. The reason for this is, DMS Framework doesn't allow different templates to be assigned on a per category basis. Therefore, we included the query option to handle the listing of posts on a category page.

With that, I am not entirely sure what your issue is or what you're trying to achieve. Therefore, can you go into greater detail.

Can I achieve this through custom post types?

You can style different custom post types to be different to one another. So you could instead of creating different categories, you could use different post types.
