HR and Other Lines are not displaying

Recommended Posts

WP 4.2.1

DMS 2 v 2.1.9.3

It appears that no "lines" are being displayed on my site, meaning that if I insert a horizontal rule it doesn't show up, and if there are boxed columns the boxes don't show up.  It occurs on multiple sites on multiple servers.

There is no HR displaying here:

http://mig.flywheelsites.com/test/

and no boxes in the boxed columns here:

http://bluerocketdigital.com/cre/index.php/features/

Also, from what I read there is supposed to be a Site Options section under the Pagelines menu item in WP where I can set it to not display post date, but there isn't this section for me:

Hi,

You have most likely set your color options in the DMS toolbar to white, as the border color for the hr tag is set to white.

Thanks, I'll try that.  Can you address the second part of the question as well please?  Thanks Danny.

There is no Site Options for DMS Framework or any core themes in the WordPress Admin Dashboard. Those options are only for our legacy theme such as Platform Pro or PageLines Framework.

Okay, thanks.  That being the case I then still have the question about how to remove the date and link to comments from the blog page and individual posts.  See screen shots.

Can you point me in the right direction for this one?

You will want to open up the WP-Content/PostLoop sections settings via the DMS Visual Grid and then you can choose what options you want to have enabled in your metabar via shortcodes.

What if I don't want anything?  If I leave it blank then it defaults to the post date and comments link.

I agree that there should be a 'do not display meta' option - I find that in the post loop when using other plugins that DMS generates a 'Filed under' which then has to be hidden with CSS

Even if there isn't the built-in option to hide it completely if I could be given the CSS to accomplish it I'd appreciate it.

If you do not want any meta info, simply add the following to the meta options field.

This is HTML for space so adding this will disable the Metabar.

Thanks, is there a way to get rid of the extra space between the title and image that is there still now that the meta info is gone?  A way via CSS to remove the meta info section completely from the posts?

Can you provide a link to the page in question so we can see this extra space.

Add the following to your custom CSS:

.metabar {
  display: none;
}

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
      I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
      On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
      Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
      My theme is up to date

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
      Thanks in advance for the help!

      Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
      All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
