Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions

Recommended Posts

primetime

Originally I put the below code to delete post revisions and empty the trash in config.php. It didn't work.

/** Reduce post revisions. */

define( 'WP_POST_REVISIONS', false );

/** Empty trash right away. */
define ('EMPTY_TRASH_DAYS', 0);

So,

I used the plugin "Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions" to delete my post revisions, unused tags and empty the trash. In doing so I think it deleted my iBlog 6 templates. I had to recreate my page and post templates. This time I saved the templates.

I'm wondering how other users are cleaning up their databases?

Old post. Sorry.

When I use that plugin it deletes the connections between my pages and their  templates.

WP-Optimize seems to work fine though.
