DMS 2 Adding a slider to a page

I want to add a slider to a sub-page listed under my About page but when I add the slider to the Column, it then posts the slider on the About page and all the other pages under it. 

 

To be specific, I want to add the slider to the Lillian Smith Family Violence Foundation page under About.

 

Do I need to set up a separate template? I'm confused. I have a photo posted to the page now.

You can create a new page for this with the slider or please take a look "UNLOCK A TEMPLATE" in

I have no idea what you mean by creating a new page. Could you please explain with more detail? I will look in Docs but couldn't you show me where so I don't have to spend so much time looking?

If you want a specific layout on a specific page you will need to create a template. If you're adding a section to a page and that section is appearing on other pages, that that page is using a template that is assigned to other pages.
