DMS 2 Masonic Gallery setup guide

I'm sorry, but is there a setup guide to the Masonic Gallery somewhere? I am a bit lost. I added a masonic gallery, but it will only show all my posts. I can't get it to show only my work/portfolio posts. Can somewhere please advise? A post with a full setup guide with options would be very helpful.

Thanks. I had found this post already and tried to deploy the solution before asking, but it is not working for me. That why I asked for a setup guide. I know it may be a little novice to suggest, but I wish the gallery had an option to select the post type (which it does) and then it could read the custom post types on your site and allow you to select the post type. I still can't get it to post anything but my blog posts to show, and not the custom post type I set up.

Please advise.

Can you provide screenshots of the settings you currently have that are not working, as the instructions on the post I linked do work.
