Viewer Theme Grandstand section images not resizing

Hi Folks,

 

I made my site on a temp URL and move it.  All looks great except the Grandstand sections I have on a few pages are not looking in line and the images and not resizing themselves.

 

Before I moved it the images were lined up great.

 

Anyone any ideas?  Thanks.

When learning how to create a child theme I think I read it somewhere and it seems to work!!!  Should it not be there, is it this causing my problems.  I have used the same thing on other site too...

There should be no need to import the DMS stylesheet. So that can be removed. When that is removed, see if this resolves your issue. If you want a child theme you can use the PL Starter theme here - http://answers.pagelines.com/how-to-install-a-child-theme

Okay, I have passed this onto one of our developers who will take a look and reply to me, letting me a solution or suggestion.

I have spoken to the main developer of GrandStand and he has informed of the following:

 

"GrandStand image sizes are based off the regular size image, if there isn't a regular size image then it has no height/width to double. Tall images are 2x high same width as a regular image. Where as wide images are 2x wide same height as a regular image."

 

Therefore, if your images are not large enough or in the right proportion such as you can not use a landscaped image via the tall image option, as it will be stretched and the same goes for wide images when the regular image is in portrait proportion.

OK, great, that makes sense.  Although everything was fine with the image sizes until I moved the site to it's permanent domain.

 

Is there a standard size images should be?

 

I will play around and see what I come up with.

There isn't a standard size per se. However, the larger the images the better, but not too large. Also, remember what I said about proportions. If you stick to that guideline and have quite large images. Then there should be no issue.
