Does anyone know how to change the Flipper (on hover) Icon?

 

It appears to be a:

<i class="fa fa-link"></i>

Can this be changed?

Hi,

 

There is no option to change the icon used when hovering over an item in Flipper. If you wish to change this icon, you will need to edit the sections core code. To do this, you will want to use a child theme and then create a child section of Flipper. Then make your edits to the section.php file.
