feature slider rendering very slow

Hi All 

 

The feature slider on our site https://www.magva.comappears to be rendering very slow after the recent update. My attention was drawn to this when I noticed a significant increase in bounce rates from my site (which seems to relate to the last update)

 

What happens is that each of the images in the slider are stacked one on top of the other. After a period of time they appear correctly contained within the slider.

 

Has anyone any suggestions on how to rectify this problem.

I have visited your website and you have over 30 errors related to a number of things, but maily jQuery and JavaScript - https://cloudup.com/c2EZnDRYhU1
 

Therefore, you're going to need to disable all active plugins, especially the one called Rocket and see if this resolves your issue.

Hi Danny

Installing WP-Rocket actually improved the original problem - strange it is.

 

I think I tracked to problem down however to plugin wordfence and the live traffic.  Since I made some changes here the problem seems to have rectified itself.
