Multimenu Close Icon Missing

Hello,

 

I installed Multimenu today for the first time and am excited to get everything working.

 

Once I installed it and tested the menu, I couldn't figure out how to close it once I opened the menu via the hamburger icon. I went onto the demo site and saw that I had a close icon missing for some reason.

 

I've attached a picture of the issue.

Hi,

 

As far as I know, there should be a X somewhere in the top corner which will close the side menu. Do you not have this ?

No, that is why I am posting.

In the picture I attached it is suppose to be in the top left hand corner and there is not one, which I thought was weird. Any thoughts as to why this could be happening? I tried disabling plugins and still having the issue.

Hey Danny, I tried a fresh install of Wordpress on a brand new subdomain. It's still doing the same thing -- there is no "X" for me to close out of the menu.

 

Could this be a compatibility issue with Wordpress 4.0.1?

It shouldn't be the version number of WordPress. However, why are you using that version ?

 

Also, how did you install the plugin ?

 

What version of MultiMenu is installed ?

Can you provide a screenshot of your plugins directory via an FTP client please, so we can see the MultiMenu directory name.

I am now running Wordpress 4.1.1

 

I installed the plugin using the plugin uploader.

 

The version of MultiMenu installed is 1.0.

 

I attached a screenshot of my plugin directory.

The latest version of MultiMenu is 1.1. Therefore, please update and see if this resolves your issue.

1. A link to this topic so I now what the PM is regarding

2. A link to the site in question.

3. Your Admin username/password

4. Make sure all plugins are disabled.

5. Make sure all custom code is removed.

OK, you appear to be using DMS version 2.0. Therefore, you're going to need to active the PageLines updater plugin and then update to the latest version of DMS which is currently 2.1.9.2. Once updated, let me know if the issue persists and I can login and investigate further.

      Pulling my hair out over here, and would love an assist!

      Not sure exactly what is causing the issue. For some reason, why you view my site on mobile, the menu does not show up. It will pop up, but it is black. You can check it out here: http://dev.caryfbc.org. I'm also attaching a screenshot where I shrunk my browser down. Any suggestions?

      Should be a simple answer but not sure why its not doing this.  I have a child theme installed on pagelines 5 that has a hook so it will write over the theme css. Strange is that when I am on the frontend the code works but in the dashboard your theme takes over my code and its no where to be found. See examples attachments
