DMS 2 Add paragraphs to Solid Footer

When adding content to the Solid Footer is ignores paragraph returns. Can you tell me how to enable this please?

I'm using a shortcode to bring in a custom post created in WCK.

I'd reverted to an h4 the minute you responded as that solved it, sort of.

I'll put it back and show you what I mean but it'll be tomorrow by the time I have chance.

Hmm, it be related to the actual shortcode then, as I simply added some text and wrapped each paragraph with a <p>...</p> tags.

I've reverted to setting the post to paragraphs instead of <h4>.

 

Now, in .solidfooter-left, in Dev Tools get:

 

<p> ::before </p>

<div with shortcode>

<p> ::before </p>

Shortcode content

<p> ::before </p>

</div>

<p> ::before </p>

 

No idea where those extra <p> tags are coming from.

 

It works if I manually add the <p> tags to the post content but it's not picking up the paragraphs automatically, even though the post entry does have a two paragraphs.

 

I'm trying to keep as much code away from my clients as possible.

 

There's a setting on NextBox that enables autop. Does this need to be added to the Solid Footer perhaps?

Unfortunately, I am not getting those extra p tags. Therefore, try using the code you have along with the autop option and see if this resolves your issue. If it doesn't, it has to be related to shortcode and/or a conflict with DMS SolidFooter and the shortcode.
