CSS for Navbar - On Hover & Active Colour different to base link colour.

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping you might be able to help me with the precise CSS for this.

I want to change the Navbar active, on-hover (underline) colour & the background on the dropdown on this page,

http://www.noelgroup.ie/ascension-executive-recruitment/

from the pl_base color (#E7182C) to #00c5b4.

(I can't change the link_base colour as I need it to be #E7182C for the links throughout the rest of the site.)

Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Gav.

Hi Gav,

Use the following:

/* box-shadow on hover */
#site .section-navbar .navbar.pl-color-base .navline > li:hover > a {
  box-shadow: inset 0px -10px 0px -6px rgb(49,88,204);
}
/* box-shadow on current page */
#site .section-navbar .navbar.pl-color-base .navline > li.current-menu-item > a {
  box-shadow: inset 0px -10px 0px -6px rgb(49,88,204);
}

Change the color values to whatever you like.

Also, not sure what you mean by "& the background on the dropdown on this page," There is no drop down on that site?

Hi Danny,

Thanks a million for this. That was exactly the answer once I banged in the RGB. I've just realised that it's left me with another issue though in terms of the mobile menu, so I've had to switch to the iHeader. (I'm using iBlog Pro 6.) I'll open it as a new ticket.

Thanks for your help here and sorry that I've had to switch out your good work as soon as I apply it. I should have thought it through first.
