DMS3?

Recommended Posts

Not sure where to post this so I'm doing it here.

I've got a client who needs a WP multisite update.

At present they have 24, roughly identical blogs created with PageLines Framework.

One was designed then duplicated through WPMU Blog Templates.

Historically, just before one of my projects goes live, a new PageLines flagship product comes out which leaves the site outdated until I can find the time to relearn and update.

Over on a FB thread I learn that DMS3 is upcoming. Of course, that could mean next week or next year.

Anyway, I can wait until June to begin this new project or start in March.

Can someone in the know make a suggestion, however cryptic, so that I don't end up in the situation I've grown used to? ;)

Shall I wait, or jump?

Hey there,

I'm currently in heavy development the next generation framework.  I can tell you a few things...

  • This is a major major update.
  • It will be the first of its kind but will build on some key DMS concepts
  • It will have significant new rewrites, functionality, tools, and feature sets, that we've put a lot of thought into

While I can't give you an exact timeline for release, I can tell you that within the next 2 months we'll be starting a private alpha/beta test with active site creators.

We REALLY want this to be a breakthrough product, and we want to work with active users to make sure that we've successfully "nailed" the design.

So, if you want, email us at [email protected] and we'll put you on the list for private beta testing.
