Is Club membership worth it?

Recommended Posts

I want to try and see if anyone else feels as though the club membership is worthwhile.

I have to say i am not sure. $30 per month is a little steep - i am not sure if there are enough benefits, but perhaps i can be convinced?

I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks, have a great day.

That’s a very interesting question to ask. But I think the answers will vary depending on where you are financially in your career. If you are just starting out and don’t have client base to see paying the 30 bucks a month then naturally it wouldn’t be a good fit for you. But that just my 2 cents.

Personally at this point in my freelancing I don’t see a problem with the price per se. But I look at DMS probably a lot differently than most.  For me DMS is a valued member of my design team, I see it has an asset and tool to be used to bring my version of “Awesome” to my clients. And I want to have all the extra stuff at my disposal. If at some point it does not perform accordingly I give it a pink slip and look for something better.

Now with that being said I do think the club membership lacks some exclusiveness.  I would love to see a section, forum or another site just for devs to share ideas and things they learned. Currently the forum is mainly for support. People post their problems and Danny comes along with his magic wand and fixes it.

Maybe I want to make a section and share it with the world but I don’t know where to begin. There are no videos or tutorials to follow and the old docs confuse the hell out of me. Pagelines devcamp is gone … Nick’s H basic section programing tutorial is gone.  ( I should have evernoted that whole site :( )

On a lighter side I have gotten to know some of the devs outside of the forums and it’s great to have a chance to bounce ideas off someone else who is stronger in design or code  than I am.

Sorry for the rant (writing eases my mind at times) but to sum it up for me it’s totally worth it. But there is also nothing wrong with wanting or expecting more.

      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
