Website load time at about 60 seconds, waaaaay too slow

Recommended Posts

My site is located at http://thebrasseffect.comand it's taking at times over 60+ seconds to load. I've disabled a bunch of plugins and took at look at what I know to look at in the code, to include enabling and disabling options in DMS Pro Tools but to no avail. Can someone please take a look around to see if it could be a simple (hopefully) fix.

thanks.

Hi,

Your issue is your choice of web host provider. Basically, you're paying for something called Shared Hosting, which is very cheap and poor hosting. In web hosting you most certainly get what you pay for and Shared hosting isn't known for its great performance.

Basically, shared hosting is cheap because the web host populates their servers with hundreds or in your case thousands of websites on the same server, all sharing the same server resources. This is the reason your websites performance is so poor.

I ran a reverse IP check on your domain and found you have over 1000 websites running on the server your site is housed on - https://cloudup.com/cdweU-QBUvc

Therefore, you have four options:

1. Contact your web host provider and ask them to move your site to a less populated server.

2. Purchase a better plan with your host that isn't shared hosting.

3. Move to a new web host, we recommend FlyWheel - https://getflywheel.com/

4. Purchase a VPS or Dedicated server, so that you know only your domain is on that server.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

      Hello,
I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
