Hello

I'm attempting to make the website within the webmaster compliance guidelines of Google.

When I check the website with their tools I see that they are indicating problems with the structured data.

Below is what I've copied from the Google webmaster tools website.

Would you please specifically advise where the problems are and what needs to be done to remedy these errors?

Thank you.

All the best of Providence.

Hi,

I still can't access your website. However, as far as I am aware the Google structured data only works on posts and not pages. If you use the same tool on PageLines.com/blog, you will see there is no issue.

However, as I am unable to view your site because of how your server is configured. I have mentioned your issue to our developer. However, I do believe this is because you're attempting to use Google structured data on a page instead of post. As a page doesn't really have an author.

Hello Danny

What is the name of this tool that you are talking about on PageLines.com/blog?

Would you think it wise for SEO purposes to make sure that pages and posts are both able to not have any errors or issues with google webmaster tools?

Much thanks & best of Providence.

If you scan our website PageLines.com and PageLines.com/blog using the Google Structured data tool, you will see we encounter no such issues like the ones you're reporting. Therefore, you're attempting to use Google structured data on a page, i.e a page has no author etc..

Hello Danny
Here is what I found out from someone I had look at the problem.
"Hi Skip,
Below is the way I fixed the Structured Data issues.
Actually it is not an issue of the theme. There are couple of ways Google identifies structured data on a webpage. One method is using "hentry" CSS class. WP adds it for Single page/post classes function automatically. When this CSS class appear in the classes list, the page must have other CSS classes - entry-content, date updated, author & entry-title.
Your posts didn't had the Author & Post title displayed, therefore we cannot fix 2 errors which require entry-title & author CSS classes. So the solution is to remove hentry class to stop Google identifying a wrong structured data errors.
Textbox & Accordion section files both had "hentry" class added manually without having other classes. So I removed them manually by editing last 2 pages mentioned above. This may be a little misuse or issue with Pagelines."

I hope this helps the developers on your end for future updates.
Please advise according.
All the best of Providence!

Skip+ and Danny

I have the same issue with my websites.  When analyzing the data in Google Web Master tools. I have schema all 800 pages of my website.  However, I am receiving the following Hentry errors:

Missing Updated

Missing Entry-title

Missing Author

Missing Price

Based on the analysis from Google Web Masters tools this hentry file is both in Pages and Posts.  However, if you try to overwrite the function once the wordpress updates or pagelines updates the function will be erased.

Here is my website http://morningsiderecovery.com/

When I test in the structured data testing tool none of the errors appear:

https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/

However, when you when I go into google web master tools I can see the errors

Thanks  You.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

      Hello,
I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!
