DMS 2 Appearance Customise loads homepage

When Choosing Customise from Appearance I'm taken to the homepage.

 

Any ideas?

Dont use appearance customize. It breaks DMS. We have tried to disable it, WordPress have coded it in such a way it makes it impossible to simply turn it off.

 

DMS does not use the wordpress customizer tool, thats just for editing basic things like site title etc, dms does not use any of those settings.

Some of the plug-ins I use, use that to modify their settings.

If DMS doesn't support the Customise option, there's little point continuing the conversation, I guess.

 

I've tried to contact the dev of the plugin to see if they have a solution.

 

I've used the Customise option in the distant past. Haven't had the need recently. Until now.

Easiest option is to make 2015 the default template, mod it there then flip back to DMS.

I spoke too soon. When switching back to DMS the Customiser edits were lost. Makes sense with hindsight but still leaves me needing a solution.

I don't think there is going to be a solution unfortunately, as DMS simply doesn't use the Customize option.
