DMS 2 Anchor Drop-down arrow?

Lately I've had a few negative reactions to a couple of DMS sites, related entirely to a full width homepage image.

It seems that a number of people can't seem to grasp the scroll down aspect of these sites. The result is that on one site I've had to remove the RevSlider entirely so that getting to the content is, perhaps, clearer. That really screws with the designs though!

Today I was directed to this site here and asked to replicate the bouncing down arrow that one sees, bottom-center.

I know that the arrow is an svg graphic within a div. Viewing it in Chrome dev tools I can see the timer change the position automatically, I just can't find where this is called.

I've found a number of tutorials regarding the concept (mostly) and when I attempt them on a simple HTML test site, no problems. But, trying to integrate it, over a background canvas image on a DMS site escapes me.

So, how might you all approach this kind of thing?

You would need to either create your own section or try using a hook. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you with customisation support like this as it is beyond our scope. :(

Related, but more in line with DMS, can you direct me to a way to have an element appear above and across two sections?

I think the easiest way would be to either use a hook or use a section. Then use CSS to position it between the section above and below it, using postion and z-index.
