DMS 2 Unable to do proper Upgrade to DMS 2

Hello together,

 

I seem to be unable to do a proper upgrade to DMS 2 and need support please.

 

We are running a production site under www.talentschmiede.com with DMS Version 1.x.

 

I clone the site to save.talentschmiede.com with WP Manager.

 

I make another clone for testing purposes to test.talentschmiede.com, which will be the testing stage for updating to DMS 2.

 

I update the DMS on test.talentschmiede.com by renaming the old dms direcotry and uploading the new dms folder as downloaded via pagelines.

 

On the testing-site all caching plug-ins are disabled (as we use WC3 total cache in connection with a CDN and Cloudflare for huge loading time savings on production).

 

Now, a strange thing happens on the testing site. First of all, only a couple of sections are editable on test.talentschmiede.com. The header containing the DMS2 logo does not appear at all.

 

Secondly and more weird, a link like http://www.talentschmiede.com/testing-banking/(which shows as it should be) shows on the testing site like this (http://test.talentschmiede.com/testing-banking/) which is absolutely not like it should look like.

The content of the Hero section is the same as on page http://test.talentschmiede.com/talentschmiede-academy/

 

This goes on for these links http://test.talentschmiede.com/sap-praktikum/, http://test.talentschmiede.com/jobsite-generelle-informationen/ , and a couple more.

 

Seems like the pages are garbled together. As said, all caching plugins are deactivated, and this happens with all plugins deactivated at all.

 

How will i be finally able to properly update to DMS 2? This is really taking some huge effort for some time being with no results.

I apologise, but I am not entirely sure what you mean when you say the following:

How can you tell only a few sections are editable, what is happening when you try to edit them. Can you provide screenshots and also login details for your test site please. Send me a PM with the following:

 

1. A link to this topic so I know what the PM is regarding.

2. A link to the site in question

3. Your admin username/password

4. Make sure all plugins are disabled.

5. Provide any screenshots of issues you're encountering.
