Please Overhaaul RevSlider

Hi,

.If one section lets Pagelines down, it is the Revslider - I have encountered many issues that require hack after hack to try and get teh slider to show effectively across platforms, the main bugbear it how it translates to mobile view (quick carousel also has issues) whereby text doesn't scale accordingly with right hand aligned the worst offender. I have resorted to hiding the revslider section completely from mobile as, to tweak css to make it work on mobile, then affects the desktop view.

Part of the Pagelines pitch is that its a responsive framework - Revslider in its current state isn't without hacks, which defeats the object really. Theme Nectar's Salient Nivo slider works way, way better and works across media using just the plugin settings.

Please Pagelines, please can we have have a better slider? your framework is good, your support is good (Danny especially who always responds and goes the extra mile), so lets have a slider to match.

The answer is to spend $18 and buy the full version of Revslider. If you combine it with the full width widget add-on then it replicates the DMS packaged slider except with more control and endless options. Or use it with shortcodes etc

I've used the standard Revslider in some projects but you can save yourself a lot of farting about for that small licence fee.

lazlo"] - I will pass your feedback onto our developers and see if we can get some improvements to the RevSlider section. Also, as @[member="nfp1900 mentioned, a section can never replace a complexity and configuration possibilities a plugin can provide. This is partly down to the fact that we do not wish to overwhelm the standard user with hundreds of options. Out of the box, RevSlider works well in my opinion, but it can also be improved.

Rest assured, I will pass this feedback onto our devs ;)

The Filtering of categories in the Masonic Gallery refreshes back to ALL categories when the DMS Revslider loads a new image?
Anybody any idea? See Artists Category refreshes back to ALL when the DMS Revslider with images on the top loads a news image on http://www.18hrsfestival.nl/

Is there a way to disable the responsive function of your iBoxes?
I do not want all iBoxes underneath each other on mobile, is there a way to fix columns or group boxes?
I use them for small links and want them to stay next to each other, see attachment
      Please let me know.

      Hi,

I have been using DMS and pagelines.
I am facing to a huge trouble with the appearance of one of my page on mobile (smart phones) built with pagelines.
However I haven’t come to any solutions to organise either edit the appearance of mobile view to look neat or deactivate the responsive function.
Now it looks totally messy on the phone...

      1. Is there any way to edit the appearance of the mobile version (responsive theme)?
      2. Is there any way to deactivate responsive function?

If I could receive support from you to go thorough this process I would be happy to be a pro member.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
