Does DMS Custom LESS query supports 'extend' ?

 

If so, what is the syntax.

 

I tried the following and it does not work:

 

.test_class {

 border:1px;

}

 

.test_extend {
   &:extend(.test_class all);

}

As far as I am aware it should be supported, the extend pseudo-class was released in LESS version 1.4.0 and we currently use 1.5.0.

 

However, this may be a bug, as when I use the extend class in the DMS custom editor and use the live preview, the CSS works. However, when I publish the CSS/LESS is not displayed and instead returns a Parse error. I have reported this to our developers as a potential bug.

I have no luck using it. For now, I just resort to mixin which is not really a pure DRY based on compiled CSS.

lessphp does not support extend()
