DMS 2 Browser issue? Using 'is-fixed' and 'is-not-fixed' in the main menu

Hi,

 

I am using the classes which are "is-fixed" and "is-not-fixed" to change the background color of the main menu when someone scrolls down on the page. It works like you would imagine in Chrome, but it doesn't work in Firefox or Safari. Help please...

 

This is the only line of code I'm using

#fixed-top.is-fixed {
	background-color: #2980b9 !important;
}

It appears the JS for this add / remove class is here: /wp-content/themes/dms/dms/js/pl.common.js

$(document).on('ready scroll', function() {
			    var docScroll = $(document).scrollTop()

			    if (docScroll >= fixedOffset) {
			        fixedTop.addClass('is-fixed');
			 		fixedTop.removeClass('is-not-fixed');
			    } else {
					fixedTop.addClass('is-not-fixed');
			        fixedTop.removeClass('is-fixed')
			    }

			})

OK, well I can get it working. The issue is that most sections have their own background color. Therefore, you're going to need to make those sections background transparent for the CSS to work.
