Home page truncated on initial loading

Hi,

This website http://itseasybeinggreenmovie.com/ is running DMS2 and I've run into a bizarre issue in Firefox.

When the home page initially loads up, the top portion of it gets truncated and "hidden" behind the top nav section, hiding the top portion of the intro paragraph and the top portion of the YouTube video.

Here is a screenshot of how it gets truncated - http://davidcosgrovesandbox.com/cutoff.png

This is how it should look (and does look upon refreshing) - http://davidcosgrovesandbox.com/not-cutoff.png

That affected section is a canvas area, 600 pixels high, with a background image.

For the time being, until this can be fixed, we just put the content in the WP-loop section, so the cutoff canvas area has been hidden for desktop and mobile users.  I want to enable it again once this can be fixed.

If you need Admin access to look at anything please PM me and I will set you up.

I've never run into this issue with DMS, it's a new one on me!  Thank you in advance for your help guys.

David

Additional important note: if I do a hard refresh of the home page now in Firefox, that truncating issue is still happening even though the canvas section is disabled - here is a screenshot - http://davidcosgrovesandbox.com/cutoff2.png - note how the top of the page scroll bar is already topped out, something is causing the page to load incorrectly.

Thanks again.

Some more information:

I turned on Inspect Element and tried a couple of refreshes - look at the pl-wrap section - this appears to be the problem area -

This is when the page loads correctly - http://davidcosgrovesandbox.com/pl-wrap-working.png

Now look at where the pl-wrap area loads with a hard refresh - http://davidcosgrovesandbox.com/pl-wrap-error.png

This is only happening on the home page and in Firefox.  I cannot replicate this in Chrome.

Thanks!

Sorry for the multiple posts, but I have even more information to provide.

One more important thing I've discovered - if you do a hard refresh on all pages of the website, the same pl-wrap error occurs in Firefox and the page gets truncated, so it is a site-wide issue in Firefox.

The pages work perfectly in Chrome, standard refresh or hard refresh.  The site works fine on mobile.

Hi,

What version of FF are you using as I am not seeing any issue on your site using the latest version of FF - https://cloudup.com/cxL5nhTeSKa

Hi Danny,

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

So, after much hair-pulling and troubleshooting (disabling plugins, etc.), it turns out that it was the NavBanner DMS plugin causing the issue.  This problem affected Firefox and Safari.  I replaced our navigation with the standard Navi full-width section and pages are loading as they should.

This however brings up another question - I purchased a 5 website license for NavBanner.  Now that I see it causes this problem, I have no use for it.  Is there a way to take that plugin out of my account and get a refund?

Thank you very much for your help!

David

Hi David,

As Nav Banner is a third party extension, I have moved your topic to the developers specific product forum. Where he will be able to assist you with your issue, as it shouldn't be causing the issues you're experiencing.

Hi Danny,

OK thank you very much - yes, I am not sure why Nav Banner was causing that problem, but it was.

Thanks again for your help.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

      Hello,
I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

I thought I had seen the last of this problem. However, please look at dev.stevensoncraneservice.com (the development site for our company). Every internal page looks fine. However, the home page is "broken" on every browser. However, when I'm logged in when using Chrome as a admin, the site checks out fine.
Can you help me figure this out?
      Thanks,
      Rich

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!
