Hi,

 

The image is cropped because the option you have selected uses the thumbnail option and your thumbnail dimensions are set to 150x150. If you want your full image displayed, you will need to use the On Top option.

Regarding why your featured image isn't displaying on your full post, this is because you have configured the Blog & Pages option to not display a featured image on full posts.

I dont understand, where I have "configured the Blog & Pages option to not display a featured image on full posts." can you walk me through making the featured image show on the full blog post?

Login to your WordPress Admin Dashboard > PageLines > Site Settings and then select Blog and Post or Blog and Pages. Once there, you should have options to control where and how the featured image is displayed, simply check full post.
