Cannot stop quickslider automatic animation

I have the checkbox "animate Slideshow Automatically" unchecked, yet it animates automatically anyway. I've now disabled all my plugins. I've tried checking and unchecking that box, and changing transition type but nothing affects this auto-animation.

The quickslider sits below the video slideshow currently.

 

This is needed for a presentation on Tuesday.

 

If we can't find the fix for this slider, is it possible that if I switched this Quickslder with a DMS1 quickslider, that one might work normally?

You're using an old version of DMS and therefore, we are unable to provide assistance. As we do not provide support for users running out of software. Therefore, you're going to need to update to the latest version of DMS 1.x.

Hmm . . . are you referring to the demariswehr.com site I linked to?

 

I just installed this DMS on this site two weeks ago by searching for DMS2 in the Themes area of the site.. 

 

It says it is DMS 1.1.1. and there is no indication that there are any updates available in my dashboard.

What do you mean you installed this version of DMS by searching for DMS2 on the themes area ? Are you using the free version of DMS i.e from WordPress.org ?

You can only install DMS 2.x by purchasing it from our website. Therefore, this isn't DMS 2.x, it is the free version of DMS.

If you have encountered an issue with DMS and the Quickslider no longer being able to stop the automatic sliding. Can you please disable all active plugins and remove any custom code you may have added and see if this resolves your issue please.
