Adding snow and solid footer

Hi,

I know this is very basic, but I just downloaded Snow and solid footer, but can't figure out how to add them to DMS.  If I try to browse and add as a plugin the folder opens to multiple items (php, js, png, etc.) I did try and look online before posting :)

You download the zip from your account area, then log into the site you want to install on, go to plugins admin area, click new, then upload. Then upload the zip file you downloaded. No need to unzip it at any point.
