Recommended Posts

I have an error showing up with the new GrandStand Section.

I have already disabled all plugins except DMS plugins.

Here is the error

Warning: getimagesize(): http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in

/wp-content/plugins/pl-grandstand/class.section.php on line 220

Warning: getimagesize(http://ucanonlyimagine.com/wp-content/plugins/pl-grandstand/assets/grandstand5.jpg): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /wp-content/plugins/pl-grandstand/class.section.php on line 220

any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

This isn't an error with Grandstand, but with your servers configuration, Try to add this code to your .htaccess file:

php_value allow_url_fopen On

If that doesn't work, you will need to contact your web host provider for assistance.

the web services that I use has a cgi-bin and a customizable php.ini file so all i did was change that from a 0 to a 1 and it worked just fine

Hi,

I have the same msg :

Warning: getimagesize(http://i1.wp.com/www...resize=1000,500): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /data/www/18714/myfit_cz/www/wp-content/plugins/pl-grandstand/class.section.php on line 220

I try to add the code you wrote here to ht acces file , but it doesn't help :-(

I also contact the hosting provider.

BUT : when I try img with the sie 500x500 or 55x1000 px, it shows this msg BUT when I used some another ing (just want to try) and the img was 3000x1300 px it works . So where should be the problem? Thanx for help.

Roman

romanondrasek - You most likely have WP_Debug on or PHP error printing on your server. As warnings should be displayed.

Ok, now I see - it seems that pictures 500x500 size works fine, but 1000x500 is still with the error msg. WHY?

Warnings should not be displaying. Therefore, you most likely have either WP_DEBUG set to true instead of false or your server is still displaying PHP errors, warning etc.. Therefore, you're going to need to check to see if WP_DEBUG is set to true in your wp-config.php file if it isn't then you're going to need to contact your web host provider.

I'm having the same issue today w/ Grandstand.  I'm in the host site, but do not see where to add the code that you wrote above

php_value allow_url_fopen On

in the .htaccess file. Also, don't see where to turn WP-Debug off.  I use register.com.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

      Hello,
I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
