Masthead section text title keeps coming back

Hello - 

 

I have 4 masthead sections on my page and the section automatically comes with a very large HELLO heading.  I can delete it by hitting delete in the title section of the "Masthead text" section of the options area, but it comes back every time I refresh or publish the page. 

 

I am attempting to have a picture with accompanying text the user can click on to go to another page on the site.  If there is a better section to use I am happy to take any advice.  Here is a screen shot of what I am talking about and the link to my site.

 

I am an amateur (obviously) so feel free to dish out any help or commentary you might have! Happy to get some constructive criticism.

That didn't work :(

The Masthead title and text field are required and therefore, you can not leave them empty. However, if you use the code provided by Batman, this does indeed work as I have just this moment tested it myself.
