Hi there,

Using your beautiful plugin and enjoying it.

Is there a possibility to have the hoover background completely transparent?

I tried adjusting hoover opacity but it also affects the fonts.

Kindly advise.

Many thanks,

Hi Frederic

I suppose that the plugin is Multi Menu

You do not use to the background "opacity" CSS rules, you try with

YOUR DIV {
background-color: transparent;}

For the text color

Please, you can try add this CSS rules

.section-multimenu .multimenu-wrapper ul li a {
color: red;}

.section-multimenu .multimenu-wrapper ul li a:hover {
color: blue;}

You can change the color as you like

Life is too short to remove USB safely ...

Hi Frederic

Thank you for purchasing one of our products.

Are you referring to Hover News or Out of the Media Box?

If it is Hover News you can use the "Background Color Opacity: and set the opacity to 0

With Out of the Media Box use the "Hover Opacity " and set to 0.

In both sections the background color opacity settings are separate to the text color option.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Good morning and many thanks for your reply.

OK, I think that what happens is that the whole pic goes whitish on hoover. I thought it was the background opacity but on checking, I realise it is not.

It is on this page.

What i am trying to get is full transparency on hoover. Do you think it is possible?

I have this in custom css

.pl-section-pad .row:last-child > [class*="span"] {

margin-bottom: 0;
width: 100%;
}

.fix {
padding: 0;
border: 0;
}

.bar-bottom .mosaic-overlay {
bottom: 0;
background-color: transparent !important;
}

Many thanks

Hello

I think what you are asking is for the background image in Out Of The Media Box (OOTMB) to also become transparent when the user hovers over the image.

The plugin was not designed to do this. Please confirm if our understanding is correct.

Thanks

Hi there!

Thanks for your reply.

No, no, not asking for 'background image in Out Of The Media Box (OOTMB) to also become transparent when the user hovers over the image.'

What I am looking for is for the whitish background to become full transparent.

At the moment, on hoover, there are 2 things happening:

- one is the background of the content of OOMB that appears with the text inside. This i have set to transparent and it works just fine.

- the other is that the entire image gets overlaid with a whitish colour. This is what i would like to remove.

not sure i make sense ...

Hi there,

using words to describe images ...difficult yes.

Let's look at it on your demo then, it is clearer:

there is an image of blue water with rain drops with a blue/green box on bottom left with text.

on hover, two things happen:

1 - the blue/green box expands and reveals its content

2- the entire blue water image becomes veiled with a whitish overlay. This is what i want to customise: that whitish overlay that covers the image when we hover.

Do you see?

I mean it is not vitally important and i can live with it but i was interested to play with that.

Many thanks for your perseverance in trying to understand!

All best wishes for the day!
