Can't seem to get the global typography settings to affect the blog. Feel like I am missing something. Using latest DMS, Wordpress....

Thank you.

Hi,

As far as I can tell, your issue is related to a HTML error you have. Basically, you have invalid HTML, all the text on the page you linked above is wrapped inside a blockquote and that is why the text is so large. You need to review your post and remove or fix the blockquote.

Thanks Danny. None of that shows up at all in my post though under text view. Don't know where these are coming from... although would also like to figure out how to change the font for my normal sized posts as well. I can't alter either.

Seems like block quote makes things giant. It looks like the text I copied from but how/ why is this happening?

You can't alter them as they're all in a block-quote element which has its own styling, this is likely the reason as to why you're not able to see your typography changes and font size.

You need to address your block-quote problem before we can diagnose your typography issues, as that may well be the cause.

Can you provide a screenshot of your typography settings please, so I can see what you have at the moment.

OK, I have viewed your screenshot and viewed your blog and your changes seem to be taking place, so I am not sure what your issue is.

Any size I choose does not affect the text. How do I change the size of the blog text?

The Blog text is currently set to 30px which is what you must have set it to in the settings, as this isn't the default font size, this has been changed. The Typography settings have two controls for how you text is displayed, there is headers which controls all headers on your site and base font, which controls all other text such as your body. Therefore, your settings are working.

If you change them to something like 13px in the settings, this should be displayed on your blog. If this isn't happening, then you either have a caching issue or used custom CSS, to adjust your text size. As I can't see any custom CSS being loaded for p tags etc.. then it is likely a hosting issue.

What I suggest is this, go to Typography and change your base font size (the left column settings) to something like 13px, then save your settings. Now go to DMS Toolbar > Site Settings > Resets and click the flush caches button. Publish the changes and reload your site. The changes should take effect.

      Hi
      I have a map here http://www.iloveoffset.com/maps/
I want to add several pointer locations to the map, but when I do they do not appear.
On this map there are 2 pointer locations and as you can there is only one visible.
Earlier today I added 7 and could only see 4 so there is something odd going on.
My theme is up to date

      Hello,
I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.
I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date.
Any thought about what might be causing this?

Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com.
All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
