Out of the Mediabox responsive problems on mobile

Recommended Posts

Outofthe Mediabox works great until you view a page on a 4.7 inch mobile phone. Then, the text below the image sits at least 20 pixels down from the bottom of the image A standard media box does not have this problem but I would like to use Out of the Box

HI,

First up thanks for buying Out of the mediabox (OOTMB).

Secondly, I think I know what is causing your issue.

You are going to need to edit the CSS file of OOTMB
Currently it reads like this:

.mosaic-block {

float: left;

position: relative;

overflow: hidden;

width: 100%;

min-height: 250px;

border: 1px solid #fff;

}

What you need to do is remove the min-height: 250px; so it reads like this:

.mosaic-block {

float: left;

position: relative;

overflow: hidden;

width: 100%;

border: 1px solid #fff;

}

You will need to do this in the style sheet of the plugin and not your child theme or custom editor.

Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks Gavin, that worked on mobile. Interestingly, when viewed on a PC with Google Chrome it still separates when you make the browser window very small. Not a big deal as nobody is really going to go that.

Frederic, You have to edit the css file manaully, ie not inside of Pagelines or WordPress. You have to get into an FTP program and access the file from your server directory. Gavin, I would recommend updating the plugin so people can simply install a new version.

Hello Frederic and meetgreen,

Thanks for the purchase.

Frederic - meetgreen is absolutely right - you need to go to the plugin's files via your FTP or cPanel and edit the css style sheet there.

And yes, meetgreen you are right - we will update for a future release.
