Pagelines bug and how to fix("deleting" sections"

Hi , 

 

I encountered an odd behavior where when I delete a section , it is still "exists". There is no way to delete them ....is there anything I can do to delete them. You can see their traces here(http://specialinjurylawyers.com/contact/)[Notice the ones deleted are not functional nor reactive].

Hi htjohn

Please, Can you disable all active plugins and see if this resolves your issue. make sure DMS Debug mode is active (DMS toolbar > Site Settings > Advanced).

Hi batman , 

 

I disabled all of my plugins and the issue is still there. There's no box that surrounds the deleted sections , so there's no way to delete them unless I could do it via code but I'm not sure where this file is located. Thanks ! I think you probably have something locked up in your cache.  Are you using the developer plugin?  If so turn off DMS caching.  You might also try clearing the cache via your host.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Developer Plugin" , but I do have "Pagelines Pro" plugin. I'm not sure how to clear my cache via host , I looked it up for hostgator but I'm not sure if that's possible .

If anyone can tell me how to fix this , I'd appreciate it . Even if it means telling me what file to go in and delete(via code) that'd be helpful too. I'm a bit frustrated by this bug.

There is a plugin available called DMS Developer tools but that depends on your account with Pagelines.  If you have the plugin, there is a wrench icon in your DMS Front-end editor tool bar and you can turn it off there.

 

If not, you can still clear DMS cache.  Go to site settings > resets > flush caches.  

 

Beyond that not sure what to tell you.

Okay, I tried all of those options . It's still there so it's definitely not a cache issue , if there's a way I can get that black box with the delete option to surround those sections, that would make my night.

Oh ! I did notice that the text sections were cleared(so that's good) . So it may partially be the cache issue but I'm not sure how to get rid of the masthead and the iCallOut. 

 

EDIT: oh nevermind , the text sections are still there in the front end. They don't appear on the live site though , it's probably because they're behind the map.

Okay , now I'm seeing the boxes after I have made the window width of my browser smaller. I think your solution helped too! I'm not sure what to say. Thanks !

      Hello,
      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens. 
      I've deleted my custom css and removed plugins. Im down to having only the following plugins:
      Akismet
      Contact Form 7
      DMS Professional Tools
      Pagelines Updater
      WooCommerce
      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date. 
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?

      Using navbar section with correctly configured WP menu to display main navigation at https://elenaangel.com. 
      All fine in desktop viewport. Menu displays twice in hamburger mode. How to fix this please?
