Parallax on mobile?

Recommended Posts

frakture

Hi there, I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing in order to enable a parallax image on mobile devices? The page in question is http://www.frakture.com/home2/, and it is the image with the bots on the top. Thanks!

Hi,

I have viewed the page in question and I am not seeing any parallax effect in place, are you sure you have enabled the option ?

Also, please perform a backup and update to the latest version of DMS, as we can not provide support to users running out of date versions. Your version is 2.1.6.1 and the latest version is 2.1.8.

Sorry, it's now just on frakture.com (the main home page) - there are bots that have a slight parallax effect. On mobile there is no parallax and it only shows the left side of the photo. (site has been updated to latest DMS version)

Unfortunately, parallax does not work on mobile devices so I've been told. So what you're experiencing is how the section should work on mobile devices. If you load our demo site on your mobile device you will notice that videos and parallax effects have been disabled.

Not sure exactly what is causing the issue. For some reason, why you view my site on mobile, the menu does not show up. It will pop up, but it is black. You can check it out here: http://dev.caryfbc.org. I'm also attaching a screenshot where I shrunk my browser down. Any suggestions?

      Hi,

I have been using DMS and pagelines.
I am facing to a huge trouble with the appearance of one of my page on mobile (smart phones) built with pagelines.
However I haven’t come to any solutions to organise either edit the appearance of mobile view to look neat or deactivate the responsive function.
Now it looks totally messy on the phone...

      1. Is there any way to edit the appearance of the mobile version (responsive theme)?
      2. Is there any way to deactivate responsive function?

If I could receive support from you to go thorough this process I would be happy to be a pro member.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

This just happened to a site I'm working on. When I decrease width of browser to check for responsiveness...the pagelines content section is not responding???

While building my website, I set a padding of 5%, 25%, 5%, 25% so the text on the pages is not too wide.
However, it looks crappy on mobile.
How do I get the same effect and still have it look good on mobile?
      Example: http://yemoonyah.com/quiz
      Thanks

      Hi,
I am having an issue with the Lax sections on Platform 5. I can embed a widget or text box into a Lax section which is really neat, but the image in the background (the parallax image) seems to get stretched and doesn't scale in an attractive way.  For example, the page http://ed6.61e.myftpupload.com/#clients has a parallax section with a woman's face  and I thought is would scale as the browser window gets smaller but the zoom-level never changes. Also, the amount of parallax shift seems more dramatic than what we want. I thought that if I uploaded a shorter image it would scan/scroll less since the height from the image's top to bottom would be less. However, that doesn't seem to have any effect and I am at a loss of how to properly control the way the image is displayed within that box. Any thoughts, tips, or suggestions to get me pointed in the right direction?
Thanks so much for the help!
