Changes to one template effects another

I have the standard Blog template that I put a header on and saved as another template called "Tips". I updated several WordPress pages to use this new Tips Template. Then, I went back to the Blog page and put a different header on that but when I went back to any of my Tips pages, the blog header appears. If I change the header on the Tips pages, the Blog header changes, just as if the are still using the same template.

I went and checked in DMS that the pages, in fact, were using different templates and they are.Double checked in the WP backend that the pages themselves were set for the right template and they are.

Why are these two templates seemingly still connected?

website is: http://web63689.aiso.net/

check the blog page and pages under Resources->MeetGreen Tips.

This site still under construction.

Hi meetgreen

Please, you remember that the Header and the Footer appears in ALL pages.

Fixed the problem. I had created a new canvas area below the header and on top of the original blog template area. I deleted the Out of the Box media component I had put there and re-added it and it fixed everything.
