DMS Does Not Save Changes Made in DMS Editor

We have encountered a problem with the DMS 2 theme. Since some time it does not save any changes to various screen elements made in the DMS editor. For example, there is Columnizer in the footer of our website. If I make a modification to the text displayed in this Columnizer and click the refresh button in the DMS editor, it shows DMS logo, reloads the DMS console, but changes that I have just done are gone.

 

Previously, it worked fine and we did not have any problems with DMS. Lately, we did not install any new plugins, so we really have no clue what could be the root cause of this problem.

 

Please help us to resolve this issue.

Hi,

 

I have viewed your site and I can not see anything out of the ordinary i.e. such as Cache plugin, out of date version or even errors in the browser console. Therefore, can you enable DMS debug mode (WordPress Admin Dashboard > PageLines last option). Also, would it be possible for you to disable all active plugins and see if this resolves the issue.

If disabling doesn't achieve anything, can you remove all custom code you may have added, this includes scripts.

Again, if this doesn't happen, keep all custom code/scripts removed, all plugins disabled and then record the issue so we can see this happening first hand. We recommend either Jing or QuickCast.

DMS debug mode isn't active so I am unable to see your debug info.

Also, from the looks of it, with you have the latest version of DMS and disabling all active plugins, the only other thing that could be causing this issue is your server configuration. Can you tell us who your host is and what package you have with them please.

I turned on the debug mode (please see the beginning of the video). I suppose that it is not active because of the same problem that prevents DMS from saving changes to front-end elements.

 

Our host is A Small Orange (www.asmallorange.com) and we have the "Small" shared hosting plan (http://asmallorange.com/hosting/shared/).

Should I check something specific like the version of PHP installed on our server? Please help us to resolve this problem with DMS as soon as possible because we cannot add new content on the website and also we disabled all plugins. So, our website is not functional for our customers.

DMS works out of the box, the issues you're encountering is likely caused by your server. This isn't something we can assist you with unfortunately. Therefore, if you contact your host and ask them to investigate the issue, the likely cause is your plan/package as shared hosting isn't a good option to host a website.

 

If you ask them to provide your server configuration, we may be able to identify the cause of the issue.

      I've been having trouble unlocking the template section for past couple of weeks. When I try clicking nothing happens.

      DMS Professional Tools

      It was working fine before i have no idea what's going on with it.

      My DMS 2 site http://www.heart-stone.com/ will not save any new custom css... I can still edit templates and publish those but any custom css that I enter never saves.
      All WP files, themes, and plugins are up to date. 
      Any thought about what might be causing this?

      Is there a way to edit the custom CSS via FTP? I know I can edit the custom code in the Chrome editor but is there a file path I can use to find and edit the CSS directly from our FTP?
