how do I get rid of this? /* LESS PARSE ERROR in your Custom CSS: parse error: failed at `content: ` line: 1050 */

Recommended Posts

I am getting this error in my WP dashboard and a) I'm not sure why and b) I have no idea how o get rid of it as I can't access the .css file in the editor other than to see it.

"DMS Less System encountered an error

/* LESS PARSE ERROR in your Custom CSS: parse error: failed at `content: ` line: 1050 */"

I had put a line with content: in my Custom LESS/CSS but then deleted it so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error now.

Thank you-any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

HI,

The reason you're getting a parse error is because you have added invalid CSS. Therefore, you're going to need to review your custom CSS and remove the error, which according to the error is something related to content:

Thanks.  It disappeared overnight, thankfully.

I had this same problem - I have removed the offending typo, but the error has not gone away. Hopefully it disappears for me overnight as well...

If you have removed the error in your custom CSS and this isn't displaying, you may have either a cache plugin active or you may still have errors.

You can also try going to WordPress Admin Dashboard > PageLines and then click the Save Less button, this should re-compile your compiled CSS file.

Looking for some help on a recently developed issue. Editor will not load.
      Theme:  DMS2
Error from:  Chrome - Inspector - console view
Error message: Refused to execute script from 'http://xxxx.xxx/wp-content/themes/dms/dms/editor/js/gettext.js/?ver=4.9.7' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.
Occurs on all sites on same server.
WP versions to 4.9.5, 4.9.6, 4.9.7 = same behavior. Worked properly on these same versions until 07/04/2018.
No new plugins. Isolating plugins offers same behavior.
Server vendor reports no changes, patches, etc.
      Server re-starts no impact.

      Thank you.

I refreshed, didn't work, so I followed instructions and disconnected and clicked connect to get a new token, and got white screen with the following php error:
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

On my site www.modishmel.com I'm seeing the "blog post title" within the "pins" plugin section breaking words into multiple lines. See screenshot attached.
Only seeing it in Firefox. Can you help?
